Hello readers, I am writing a quick update about the blog and what is ahead for The Chronicles Of History. I know the last few months that there hasn’t been a whole ton of writing happening which really sucks for me but I’ve been busy with a lot of good things and I would love to share them with you all! 2022 is going to be a good year!
To start off, I am beyond excited to announce that I am literally on my last semester before graduating at SDCCD with my first AA degree in history! All my hard work the last couple years is about to pay off. I do intend to transfer to SDSU (San Diego State University) to continue my education. The hope is I can get into the four year history masters program which would lead to me receiving two more history degrees with a minors in creative writing or technical writing. This plan is still being figured out but I am looking forward to attending SDSU. This will be a great opportunity to becoming the historian and author my heart wants to achieve. School will only further these goals.
Now outside of school, I am also working on a book and have a few writing projects underway. Those will be announced and discussed closer to them being completed. It is quite hard to be consistent with writing and this blog with a all my classes, a full-time job, and two teenagers at home. I am doing my best but it is always quite a juggling act. There is some relief though that I’ve made it this far, that the first step of my journey to being a historian is nearly over, and that soon it will be time to begin step two at SDSU. The excitement is real! I really look forward to the day when I can devote more time to this blog and writing books. Whatever path life puts me on, I know I will always have this blog, books, and writing. That’s all a girl really needs sometimes! That and some good strong coffee!
I really just want to say how appreciative I am of the support I’ve received on this blog from you guys. It has been cherished. Not only has it been a constant source of needed encouragement, there is no denying that without all the feedback, writing, and experience I have had with this blog over the last couple years, I honesty don’t think I would have ever improved as a writer and researcher. That is the honest truth. I couldn’t do this without you! From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much! Sending my best wishes to you all.
Sincerely,
Samantha
Well dome Samantha, don’t forget to reward yourself for you achievement, and best of luck in your continuing education, and coping with two teenagers

Yes. You are so right?! That is the whole fun of it! I feel like each new thing I learn about people, events, and the pass is a puzzle piece getting put together as a whole big picture in my brain. It is half the fun of it! 😁
