Ten Empowering Quotes To Uplift Readers From My Favorite Books

With the miserable summer heat making me feel very disgruntled and all the difficulties in the world right now, I just felt like making a quick fun uplifting post for everyone. So today I’m going to be sharing ten inspiring quotes that are empowering from a few of my all time favorite books.

This is also a great way to share some books that I love, which everyone knows is a favorite thing of mine to do! I’ve included some good authors such as David Eddings, Lucy Maud Montgomery, Harper Lee, and more!

The rest of the month I have some book reviews pending, a couple history post, a murder Monday in the works; however, I have a couple side projects so we will see what the end of the month looks like as far as the last week of August goes. Leave a comment with your favorite book quotes below! Lets us all lift each other up and be inspired by the words of our favorite authors!

Quote #1: Polgara The Sorceress “Now there’s something for you to think about. If you don’t know that you can’t do something, isn’t there a remote possibility that you’ll go ahead and do it anyway in absolute defiance of physical law? That might be one of the drawbacks of education. If you don’t know that you can’t pick yourself up by the scruff of the neck and hold yourself at arm’s length, maybe you can.”

Quote #2: Anne Of Green Gables

“Oh, it’s delightful to have ambitions. I’m so glad I have such a lot. And there never seems to be any end to them– that’s the best of it. Just as soon as you attain to one ambition you see another. It does make life so interesting.”

Quote #5: To Kill A Mockingbird

“I wanted you to see what real courage is, instead of getting the idea that courage is a man with a gun in his hand. It’s when you know you’re licked before you begin but you begin anyway and you see it through no matter what. You rarely win, but sometimes you do.”
