Laughing Through the Ages: Ten Hilarious History Jokes

Happy Friday! In today’s post I wanted to keep it light-hearted and simple by sharing a few funny jokes. History may be chalk full of wars, political intrigue, and momentous events, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be funny too. I hope everyone’s is having a good week and doing well. I know I am really excited about the coming weekend. Tomorrow is coronation day!

The coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla is something I’ve been really looking forward to all year long! Unfortunately because I am in California, I will be sound asleep when it begins at 3am my time and I have to work Saturday morning at 6am which means I will not be watching it live but I plan to quickly catch up before the day is over. This will be the very first British coronation that many of us will have witnessed in our lifetime.

It will definitely be my first coronation. I am hoping for a lot of pomp and tradition! I want to see a beautiful procession, the anointing, and crowning of the new monarchs. I want beautiful tiaras and coronets while dressed up horses ride in front of the carriages as trumpets play in the air! Now, I know King Charles has said it will be a more relaxed occasion but I am more than sure it will not disappoint; anyways, without further adieu, on to the jokes!
