Queen Elizabeth II has been staying at Balmoral Castle recently and reports are just now trickling in that she is under some quite intense medical supervision and that members of the royal family are rushing to her side in Scotland. It is with a very heavy heart I make these announcements.
Things are not looking good. Just a few minutes ago I have received the news that a plane has landed in Aberdeen which was carrying the Duke of Cambridge, the Duke of York and the Earl and Countess of Wessex. Prince Charles is already reportedly at the Queen’s side as more members arrive at Balmoral. It is also confirmed that Prince Harry and his wife Meghan, Duchess of Sussex are currently in route to Scotland to be by the queen.
Elizabeth II is the queen of the United Kingdom and fourteen different sovereign countries that include Canada, Australia, Scotland, Papua New Guinea, and New Zealand. Queen Elizabeth is ninety-six years old and has been slowing down her royal duties in the last few years especially after the death of her beloved husband Prince Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh in 2021.

BBC News Reports:
Just after 12:30 this afternoon, Buckingham Palace issued a statement saying the Queen’s doctors were concerned about her health, recommending she remained under medical supervision.
Soon after that, we heard news that all the Queen’s children were either already with her at Balmoral Castle in Scotland or travelling to be with her.
Prince Charles, Camilla and Princess Anne are at Balmoral.
Prince William, the Queen’s grandson and second in line to the throne, is on his way there, while his wife Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, has remained in Windsor as her children are on their first full day at their new school.
Prince William’s brother, Prince Harry, and his wife Meghan had been in the UK in recent days for engagements, and are said to be travelling too.
On Tuesday, newly appointed UK PM Liz Truss had herself travelled to Balmoral to be appointed by the Queen, in a break with tradition as the monarch would have normally seen her in London. But the Queen had suffered from mobility issues, so the meeting was moved to Balmoral.

Figures were seen disembarking the plane and getting into cars on the airport runway. It’s expected they will now travel to Balmoral Castle – a journey of around an hour.

Previous Health Issues:
The Queen has continued to conduct a wide range of engagements well into her nineties.
But she has been forced to reduce her diary significantly this year, while suffering from mobility issues.
The monarch has, over recent years, suffered a handful of episodes related to her health.
December 2003: The Queen had an operation to remove a torn cartilage in her left knee. It followed a similar surgery on her right knee, earlier the same year.
March 2013: The monarch was hospitalized to be treated for gastroenteritis, a common stomach bug.
May 2021: She missed the Remembrance Sunday service in central London after spraining her back.
October 2021: The Queen spent a night at a hospital while undergoing “preliminary investigations,” the Palace said at the time.
February 2022: The Queen contracted Covid-19 and suffered mild cold-like symptoms, but continued with light duties.
Since her Covid-19 diagnosis, the Queen has been forced to more regularly cancel or slim down some events.
She did not attend all of the celebrations for June’s Platinum Jubilee — marking her 70 years on the throne — and missed the state opening of Parliament the previous month due to mobility problems.

I’m still hoping that she’ll be OK, but seeing so many family members rush to Balmoral is worrying. The BBC hsve scrapped all today’s programmes to show rolling news coverage, which is very unusual. I can’t imagine a world without her.

All signs point to she has already died. All BBC casters are in mourning clothes. They have blacked their website header, all her children have gone to Balmoral, including Harry being on the way. In my gut, I think she has already passed, and BBC is just waiting to announce it once they royal family have gathered and prepared for the announcement. I am hoping she is okay too and does recover!

It’s possible. The Prime Minister and Leader of the Opposition both rushed out of Parliament this morning, so they were clearly told something.
